E was embarking on her typical line of questioning, around a topic I cannot even remember.
"Mom. Why?" she asked.
Patiently, I gave her a simple, but thorough (enough for her) response.
"But, why?"
Again, I gave her the same response, with a few different words thrown in.
"Why?"
"Elizabeth! Enough with the why's!!" This is actually the first time I've ever said that to her.
Undaunted, she asked:
"HOW?"
