"I wasn't much of a talker at school today," E announced.
"No?"
"No, I just had a little chat with M."
"Hmm...."
"Yeah, I was going to play with the dollhouse, but there she was."
"Oh, ok....what did you chat about?"
"Well, she kicked me."
"She kicked you?"
"Yeah, but I decided that I was ok being around her after that, so..."
Pause.
Pause.
"So, that must have hurt - being kicked."
"She got me right here (shows me her lower arm)....But she has REALLY nice shoes."
