And so K said to me, "Mom. Grape."
She was holding something beside her head, but I couldn't see what it was.
I reached back there and felt nothing.
"Mom. GRAPE."
I went through the motions of checking again. Nothing.
Seeing the look on her face, I knew she really wanted me to understand what she was saying.
Something clicked inside my head.
I reached for her ear again, and said
"Bear - that's your EARLOBE!" And then I fell apart laughing and laughing and laughing.
Luckily, she thought it was funny, too.
