Ms. Bear and I went to Target today. A trip to Target is never something I look forward to, and I always get stressed when we're there. Something about the fuzzy cloud that overcomes me there, and I end up buying many more things than I intended. But that is another post. My thoughts upon leaving Target today:
1. Someday, we will simply drive our carts through the check-out lane, and there will be multiple sensors identifying our items and charging us for them. (Unfortunately, I decided to share this thought with the Target clerk, who was definitely less impressed with the idea than I had hoped. Maybe it had something to do with my suggesting she could soon be out of a job?!)
2. I spent more money on feminine products today than on underwear.
3. I gave my kid a big bag of trail mix (picked up while shopping) and let her have a all-out M & M search of the contents. Afterward, her teeth and tongue were blue, and her face, hands, and clothes were covered with chocolate. And I was more embarrassed about how she looked than how (or why) she was able to get that way.
