Dear Pup has been chewing through just about anything/everything she can find and I have been struggling to control my language when becoming frustrated with her. The other day, I burst out with:
"She is a FRUIT CAKE!"
Miss E thought that might have been the funniest thing she's ever heard. In fact, she decided to try it out on her sister: "Bear is a FRUIT CAKE!"
Bear shook her head, "no," and smiled.
I said, "You're not a fruit cake?"
"No. Ca-Ca"
"You're a cup cake?"
Big grin.
"CA-CA."
