Elizabeth decided to unroll a BIG roll of string this morning. Since it's too early for me to come up with an alternative activity (read: too early for me to think), I just decided to let her "roll with it," so to speak.
She said, "This is a BIG job. A big job for a little kid." I laughed.
Then, "That's not funny!"
Then, "Wow, there's a lot to get tangled in!"
Me, looking back at her and the mess of string: "OH MY GOSH."
E: "I'm making a fancy skirt. That's my costume today. I want to walk around in it."
"I should have done this when Dad was here. He would have laughed, and laughed, and laughed." (About this, we disagree, but I shall keep my opinion to myself)
