As we were driving home from preschool, I tried to find out about E's day.
"Did you do any art projects today?"
Via the rear view mirror, I see a big smile. "Yes!" she said.
"What kind of project did you do?"
"I can't tell you."
"Really? Why?"
"It's a LONG story."
"Sweetie, I have time. You can tell me about it."
"Maybe we can talk about it after we get home," she replied (using my own words against me! ARGH!).
